Celebration for Ava's Splash Pad

With water spraying and waterplayers playing, the community of Mt. Juliet celebrated the opening of Ava's Splash Pad on July 27th. 

Commemorating the life of Ava Bright, this project is very meaningful for both Ava's family and the community of Mt. Juliet, TN. Ava's mother Krista, worked with Waterplay to create a play environment that incorporated all the things Ava loved- from her favourite foods to her favourite colours.

When the project was selected as a finalist in the Make Way for Water Play Contest, word spread and the community voted to make Ava's Splash Pad the winner. Now, just a few months later, the aquatic play pad is open for families with kids of all ages to visit and make memories.
