New slide activity centres embody form, function and fun
Kelowna, BC — After months of field research and strategic design, aquatic play pioneer Waterplay Solutions Corp. is releasing an exciting line of slide activity centres that are being described as stylish, versatile and exceptionally fun.
Designed with a unique curvy aesthetic, the modular slide activity centres are an innovative solution for projects on flat or graded surfaces, retrofits into existing facilities, or new projects. “The variety of deck and flume options we are offering enable countless combinations that will address the unique characteristics of each project,” says Product Manager, Cory Forrest “the stainless steel construction enables them to withstand the most demanding chlorinated pool environments or zero-depth aquatic play pads.” The new slides aim to keep families active and engaged for longer periods of time giving aquatic facilities an edge and potentially increasing revenue generating opportunities. “We conducted field research speaking to designers and operators to understand their needs. As a result, we are hitting the market with a product that offers unparalleled style, function, play value and quality all in one package.”
There are numerous options that include a variety of aquatic play features placed from the base of the structure to the top of the columns in order to attract a range of age groups and maximize play value on and around the structure. Also unique to the industry is the inclusion of features along the stair platforms, like dumping buckets and cannons that encourage play along the path to the slide flume without impeding the flow of activity. In the larger models, Waterplay’s successful Mega Soaker dumping bucket comes standard and delivers the “wow-factor” that most operators are looking for in their facilities.
Waterplay has been innovating aquatic play since 1987, longer than any other supplier in the industry. The new slide activity centres are a natural evolution of their existing play features and can fit into nearly any aquatic play environment including hotels, resorts, community centres and aquatic parks.
