Waterplay's ear to the market results in product improvements
Kelowna, BC, May 18, 2011— Paying close attention to market trends and actively seeking ways to improve is an ongoing focus for Waterplay Solutions Corp. and recent product revamps to the Eco Activator (previously Enviro Activator), Action Plate (previously Ground Sensor) and its unique line of sound soakers are just the latest in this continuous initiative.
The Eco Activator capitalizes on the proven valve technology used in most Waterplay projects improving flow to the aquatic play features while delivering user-initiated park activation without the need for an external power source. Long-lasting batteries will keep most facilities running for the full season without maintenance. Usually found on the surface of play pads and activated with the toes of children, the Action Plate is now equipped with Piezo activation craftsmanship, requiring no sensitivity adjustments and delivering a higher tolerance for water around the play pad. Lastly, the entire sound soaker line of play features has been reconfigured to make wiring and installation significantly easier. “There was a lot of demand for these features so we saw an opportunity to incorporate valuable feedback from our customers in the field and reflect it through significant product enhancements,” said Product Manager Cory Forrest, “these improvements will translate into more fun on the pad for kids, as well as smoother installs and lower maintenance for park operators”.
Waterplay has been innovating aquatic play since 1987, longer than any other supplier in the industry. They are a global company offering a full line of aquatic play features, slide activity centres, urban water features, aquatic fitness equipment and water treatment systems.
